Tzedakah - pursuing justice through acts of generosity

The Arnstein Jewish Community Center serves as a collection site for a variety of much needed items to support local organization. Below are our current partners and their requests. Collection bins are in the lobby of the AJCC.

 

Second Harvest Food Bank

Fighting Against Hunger in Our Community

We collect non-perishable food items to support Second Harvest in feeding East Tennesseans facing food insecurity.

Susannah's House

Every Family Deserves a Second Chance!

Susannah's House is an Intensive Outpatient Program for mothers in recovery from addiction. Needed items:

  • Laundry Pods

  • Paper Towels

  • Toilet Paper

  • Dishwasher Pods

  • Lysol Cleaning Products (Kitchen & Bath)

  • Individual Snacks & Juice Boxes for Kids

  • 13 Gallon Trash Bags

  • 55 Gallon Trash Bags

  • Paper Plates

  • Solo Cups

  • Paper Napkins

  • 12oz Disposable Coffee Cups
